Tantra has been around for thousands of years and continues to evolve as Eastern philosophy meets Western psychology. Allow me to guide you toward the shade of Tantra that suits you.
I will describe four paths of Tantra, each represented by a color.

First, there is White Tantra.
Think of purity, innocence, devotion, peace, and calm. It involves preparing the body and mind to connect with the divine, utilizing yoga poses, breathwork, meditation, and sound to attain spiritual growth. The focus is on the upper chakras: the third eye and the crown. There is no need for a partner, touch, or sexual practices to progress on this path. This is referred to as the path of the right hand in Tantra.

Next, let's explore the path of the left hand in Tantra: Red Tantra.
To understand Red Tantra, think of passion, longing, strength, radiance, sexuality, determination, and all things powerful. It involves going outside your comfort zone and letting go of limiting beliefs, drawing on the energies of sexuality, sensuality, and grounding of the lower chakras: the root, sacral, and solar plexus. Practiced with a partner, the dynamic of blending masculine and feminine energies awakens the power of sexual energy.

Pink Tantra is the middle path of both White and Red Tantra.
Think love, affection, compassion, and harmony. In Pink Tantra, the profound sexual energy of Red Tantra is transformed into love and life energy for connection and healing, allowing for love, light, healing, enlightenment, and pleasure. Sexual energy from the lower chakras and spiritual energy from the upper chakras merge together in the heart chakra for enlightenment of consciousness, heart chakra healing, unconditional love, and body awareness.

Dark Tantra is a boundary-pushing sensual domination ritual, a form of Red Tantra
that moves into areas such as bondage, sensory play, and sensation play, in a sacred and safe space. The idea here is to overcome suppressed sexuality, accept and embrace desires, and use conscious intentional pleasure to create what you desire in life. In its highest form, it’s about transformation and healing. Tantra uses sexual energy, or kundalini, to bring consciousness into intimacy, while Dark Tantra mixes in consensual BDSM elements and plays with domination/submission.
The word Tantra means "the loom that life is woven on" or "life's unbroken continuity, the circle."
It is based on this belief: all is One in the Divine mystery of Existence, and the Divine is the ultimate joy, freedom, harmony, and the highest beauty of all. Tantra is about using the body's senses, sexuality, and feelings to enhance spiritual evolution.
This ancient spiritual path encourages us to surrender to what is—at this moment, in every moment. Tantra is about finding increased relaxation, acceptance, and pleasure in the body, mind, emotions, spirit, and sex, so you wake up and appreciate the miracle of life and treat each moment with reverence.
Real Tantra was about asking these questions: How big am I, how vast, how 'divine'? How much life force can I conduct, and how much energy, awareness, pleasure/pain, or ecstasy can I handle?
If you're ready to explore the depths of your sexual self, to confront those complex questions that often go unexamined, Tantra offers a powerful framework. Like the journey Alan Watts describes in "The Way of Zen," this path invites you to delve into your existence and potential, to truly get real about who you are.
