Another way to experience your chakras is through your throat chakra. This is where your energy gathers in the middle of your neck, right on the thyroid gland. The third eye chakra, also, is situated slightly above your eyebrows. Or, you might sense the energy gathering somewhere on the feet and moving up to the chest. This mirrors how your airflow operates—from your feet to your lungs. If you are clear and open, you might have a mental picture that white energy is flowing through your body. As you practice this, you can improve your way of sensing them and become familiar with your energetic bodies.
These sensations might happen as emotions of grief, guilt, anger, or sadness. You might sense the energy moving through certain energy points in your body. Whether or not you have blockages in your chakras, you will sense the energy moving throughout your body. Sensing your chakras will help you to get better acquainted with yourself. As you become more familiar, you will also sense the blockages in your chakras and how they affect your well-being. If you have difficulty sensing your chakras or don't sense anything, you might try expanding your awareness beyond the physical sensation of sensing. With practice over time, this sense of connectedness with your chakras and the energy center will deepen and start to feel more natural.
